The real estate industry operates on assumptions: that everyone can handle surprise phone calls, make same-day decisions, read dense contracts under pressure, and process information the same way. But that’s not reality.
As a neurodivergent person who has been on all sides of the transaction as a buyer, seller, and agent, I can speak from experience about the pain points in traditional real estate. From not knowing the expectations to feeling overwhelmed and pressured into making decisions when I didn’t feel quite ready, I’ve learned that the business wasn’t built for us.
So I created Rebel Realty to disrupt the traditional real estate agency experience. Here, bringing noise-canceling headphones to appointments, wearing sunglasses inside the building, asking clarifying questions, talking directly about the pros and cons of a property (without sugar-coating it), and taking time to process requests, are all standard operating procedures.
